Without volunteers, we would not be able to provide the positive, fun and exciting AYSO soccer program to YOUR kids. Everybody needs to pitch in and help!!!!

Volunteer Openings:

Coach: Spend quality time with your child and bring smiles to a whole team. We provide training and equipment. You provide the fun. Moms and dads welcome!!

Assistant Coach: Help your child’s coach. Again, we provide training.

Referee: We provide training and equipment; you get to learn the laws of the game and to blow a whistle as loud as you can. U-10 and up. Youth Referee opportunities available also, for players 12 and up!

Communications Coordinator: Create and send regional newsletters, coordinate with marketing and social media coordinators to help spread the word about AYSO Region 153.

Field Worker: Work with Fields Coordinator to make sure fields are lined and prepared for play.

Picture Day Workers: Help with planning and distribution as well as on-site support during the event.

Team Parent Coordinator: Board liaison to the team parents. Ensure all team parents are Safe Haven certified, help the team parents know how to help the coaches and be ambassadors of our AYSO philosophies!

Sponsorship Coordinator: Work with local and National sponsors for mutually beneficial sponsorship opportunities.

Tournament Coordinator:  Gather and distribute information about area tournaments to the coaches. Coordinating player cards, tournament requirements and

Trophy & Awards: Plan, order and deliver seasonal player trophies/awards.

Division Coordinator: Board liaison to the coaches (each division). A 12U coach would make a great 10U Division Coordinator

Cleat Exchange: Would you like to help us recycle and reuse cleats and other soccer gear?

School Outreach: Already active at your player’s school? Help by being our go-to contact for distribution of registration day flyers.

Playership Fund Coordinator: Help distribute scholarship funding to excited players that wouldn't be able to play without financial support.

All volunteers must complete an online volunteer application each membership year, and become Safe Haven certified. Job descriptions can be found here. Some positions require a commitment to attend monthly board meetings, and all registration events.
