Scholarships are available to families who can demonstrate financial need by providing proof of current government financial aid or that the child is a participant of a free school lunch program (Title I student). Consideration will also be given for recommendations from government agencies, social agencies, and your school principal or vice principal. All documentation must be submitted on official letterhead or organizations documentation.
The following steps will enable you to complete the registration entirely online and avoid in-person registration:
- Complete the online registration of your child/children as much as you can, but stop before making any payment.
- Submit an electronic copy (scan or digital photo) of your proof of need to [email protected]
- Each request will be reviewed and decided upon at the sole discretion of the Region 153 Board
- Once your proof of need is verified, the documentation will be deleted and a note confirming verification will be added to your account.
- You'll be notified by email that the scholarship has been applied to your account and that you can complete the registration using a credit card, debit card or pre-paid credit card.
